Was on a bike ride 17 June, when I took a spin around the Vets home. Look what I found.

It is all but done! Wow.
Today I rode my bike over to the Vets home. That new place looks sharp. But there is no short cut thru the building that you can take a bike thru! So its go all the way around it. Still it looks nice. The duck pond area has low water, as does the Grand River. You can tell we are in a drought here when looking at them.
Did not see any of the Dom guys out and about, but did see several veterans being pushed in wheel chairs around the new buildings. Glad to see they were getting fresh air. Talked to one of the security guys. They said some of the volunteers are now returning and they think soon visitors will be allowed again as well.
So, in my last post I promised you some pictures when I finally got down there. Here they are. Enjoy.

We are still here, but been busy lately.
Wow, May has just flew by. Been very busy here. Got a lot done this month. The weather is looking good for the next week, and I am planning on spending some time near it on a bike ride. Will take my camera and video gear.
The guys still have it ruff. The can go outside but have to fill out a lengthy questionnaire to do so. They are still pretty much locked down and no visitors are allowed yet. Some volunteers are back, but not many.
So in a few days I will post some updated pictures..
